Happy New Year-it's the first New Moon of 2011! We also just had the second of the most recent pair of eclipses, which will usher in changes for the next 6 months. You can say that again.
It's amazing how quickly 2010 passed, yet at the same time eons were rolled into the last spin of the wheel. My own personal journey was quite a trip, flashed forward at times with cosmic blasts of inspiration while many vestiges of the past were ripped away quite painfully. No regrets, just leaner and lighter for the journey.....
I spent most of the year in Maui soaking up the uber-creative vibe there. Nature does it for me, as do the totally cool international babes living there. So many beautiful people to create for and I even branched out to designing for Men. I Love a man who can pull off jewelry with confidence, especially a big old crystal.....hot, very hot.
Recently, I got off the rock, as we say living in the islands, and NYC brought me face to face with the fact that the Crystal Revolution has arrived on the big scene! I couldn't have been more pleased-it's about damn time! They HEAL. Hot hipster dudes in Brooklyn rocking the crystals made me beam. The window at ABC Carpet & Home was chock full of crystals and I placed quite a few with new owners who promised me to set their intentions and cleanse them regularly (smudging is good when it's already strung, or putting in direct sunlight). Some of the crystals made their way to Paris via my friend Carmen and I have no doubt those stylish and advanced Parisians will be riding the Crystal Peace train too, if they are not already. The Japanese customers at my old stomping ground of Malgosia in West Hollywood were some of the first to scoop up the crystals 3 years ago. They would just point and nod their heads which made me realize how powerful they are! Sometimes no words are needed.....
Now, I've evolved my designs into leather wrapping the crystals and who knows what I'll come up with next. All I know is the possibilities are endless and I look forward to sharing with you my version of the Conscious Revolution: the Crystal Revolution!
